Miss Morstan seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes to solve the mystery of the disappearance of her father. For Dr. Watson it is love at first sight. Will Mary be blind to Dr. Watson's charms while in the presence of Sherlock Holmes, the world's greatest detective?
The adventure leads the trio through the London night where they meet wild and comedic characters — an extreme hypochondriac, a cockney boxer, a peg-legged villain, an aboriginal assassin, Scotland Yard's pompous inspector, and a chorus of keystone-cop-like policemen.
This delightful romantic musical comedy is adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Sign of the Four.
